I had picture's of 3 or 4 cars that had it and did see it on a,car.
So just putting it out there if anyone has pics or a car with it on it.
Is Stainless Steel on runs on top the doors and quarter panel tops.
Looks like what was done on Challenger SE but was just doors and short part of quarter as runs from door to dead ending in window.
Yes I know you could also get it on non SE Challengers.
Unlike the E Body it was just on door and quarter no trim on the of hood.
Note I do have a,set of them and factory clips pulled from a,1970 or 1971 Duster that were rough but are better than new now.
Kinda looming for info on what cars got them and what years.
Also my pics were lost due to a computer death.
So any pics woukd be nice thanks.
Oh the retaining clips are similar to the ones that hold Challenger trunk trim on.
A,wire with gray gum and pop into a hole in the same way.

So cars that got it would have had the door top drilled and 2 or 3 holes on top the quarter so someone could just pop them on going down the line. Or so i Assume
Thanks

Are you talking about this kind of trim? This is from my 68. The photo attached is of the small piece of trim I need, but you can see the trim that goes across under the window and across to the front of the door.

I remember burning the under side my arm on that trim. So when I restored my car I got rid of it.

Thanks. I was unsure and thought that name only applied to the Convertable Trim.
So far have only seen it on pre 70 A Body other than 2 cars I had picture's of.
Lost the pictures I had one was Demon and other one of a Duster.
Wondered if they were add ons on those cars or factory.
But do fit like factory and had clips like I mentioned above similar to the wire clips with a gun type stuff on them. Look just like Challenger trunk molding clips just wider.
Way back when I sent the clips to R/T Specialties as Tom wanted a look see.
Said he never saw that trim before or that clip as large as it was.
I never installed them as hated to drill holes in the fresh paint.
Thanks for the replies.

Looks like the top-model trim on A hardtops; I've also seen it on Barracudas, like my old '68 Formula-S FB.
None of my half-dozen Dusters had those, though.
(May have been an option, but wasn't present on mine.)

BUT available in 1970 Dusters

Maybe when the higher line Dodges got a their compact fastback (Demon) in 1971, they let it get the fancy trim. shruggy

I have had a few Dusters with belt molding trim. It is a rare option

Are the duster and demon molding the same and interchangeable?

Yes, same wheelbase...
