I'm in Vegas with my beautiful wife. We took in the Hoover Dam tour and on the way we drove through Boulder. I saw a 63 Plymouth sitting in someone's driveway.

Is it a race car or just street car.....?.....does it look like it has been sitting there for 20 yrs or so..?

There is a mopar guy in boulder city.....GTX John ....

He has a fleet of mopar race cars.....I think he owns half of boulder city.....

you can find him over at ClassRacer.com in the Stock/Super Stock

He would know the car...

Flying home tomorrow. I was on a tour bus so I only got a glimpse of it. Something like that always catches my eye.

John Irving could be the owner, he has several Mopars and trades and sells fairly often. He has several Stock class cars he runs , his sons also race with him. Haven't lived out west in almost 6 years so dont know if he owns a 63 or not.

We got home last nite. 80° temperature swing, walked outside this morning to -15°f. I love Minnesota!

Have you been to Las Vegas in the winter before?
If so how were the crowds now compare to before?
How about the crowds in the casinos and restaurants?

Cab, first time there. Crowds are pretty thin. The locals I spoke with said business is way off. Not many shows still open. On the upside no lines to wait in and the weather was 80° warmer than the morning after I got home.

I had cousins that lived there from around 1957 on, I've seen that valley develop over the years like L.A. has down
I lived 200 miles south west in Hesperia, CA and spent some time their racing as well as taking my wife their for some of our anniversaries. Normal crowds on the weekends was very crowded, jam pack in a lot of the better casino on the strip and down on Fremont Street shruggy
Some call that progress, I don't whiney

Cab I just came back from Vegas Tuesday. As you know I have loved there for a number of years. I can tell you the airport was more dead than I have EVER Seen it. The strip is more dead than I have ever seen it, still some folks there but Id say if it was 1/4 the crowd that would be generous. My best friend works at the Cosmo and he tells me it is hanging on by a thread, the governors mandates are killing the city. We have many friends who own businesses or work on the strip, two have had to close their restaurants because of the governors actions. A few more have been out of work since last March when he closed it down completely. We had a "little" Superbowl party at the house with about 30 people and many of them have been affected for sure. One "bright" side is real estate prices are through the roof! Mainly due to the influx of Californians snapping up all available property(friends in real estate too). We have been told our home there is well into 7 figures at this point!

Dude ! We were here from the 4th through the 8th.
Stayed at the Luxor.............I expected much more , but I will say this , the place does have patina. laugh2
We got home Monday evening to -10 and I seriously considered stowing away on the next flight south.
I drove to Hoover dam , but must have been paying attention to the road , as I missed the car.

The car was in the driveway off the residential section of town. Was on a small tour bus that stopped at a animal park in town.

Was there for the Super Bowl week. But also went to AZ and CA while I was there. We still have our house there and come back as often as we can. AS for the car the Irvings are as good a guess as anyone. I am sure if its not theirs they surely know about it. They do on occasion have cars for other folks there as well.

As for the Luxor assume you are referring to the glass on the outside of the pyramid. They clean it once in awhile. but not near enough for sure.
