considering a new set of EQ heads, tho not from Hughes. I see on the Hughes site that they say that these are a must with EQ heads. These will be dirt track circle track raced. should I spring extra for them or pass? Thank you for your time.

Absolutely bronze liners in a circle track car. You mentioned bronze " valve guides", but all you need is bronze liners,.
