Just curious what I should expect to pay to have my rods resized. I already have new rod bolts so I can eliminate that cost.

More than what they are worth. AMHIK. What are you building and what are you trying to do?

Edit -> Reconditioning my LY rods cost me $195, + $95 for ARP rod bolts = $290

They are stock LY rods for my 67 440. I'm just trying to freshen it up before I put it in my pickup. It was rebuilt years ago by a friend of mine and he never had the rods done. I was hearing a noise for a split second upon firing it, then a very slight noise after it was running. Most people would probably never have heard it, but I could and I just couldn't drive it like that. Afraid of spinning a bearing, I pulled the engine. Haven't had a chance to tear it down yet. I have a good crank that was checked out by a machine shop and I just want to be sure everything has proper clearances..

In my experience, rods + bolts + inspection + resize has been cheaper than new Chinese H-beams. They're a strong forged I-beam. People have used them in high horsepower engines for 60 years. I prefer to support my local machines shop.

Resize at a reputable shop on Long Island is $109. I've used them many times.
