That is nothing like what one looks like just a generic universal one... Here is an Nos one I have. There is none on the forefront that I know of.

That looks like an e-body tank. I think it's a typo.

74 Challenger, bought it new. In 1978 I replaced the original 318 with a 446 and 727. Mild cam, Jardine headers, and Holley Sniper EFI.
New engine! 511" RB, Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, Eagle rotating assy, Comp hyd roller cam, Doug's 2" headers.

The 71-4 e-body tank always comes up when search for 73-74 b-body even if you search by part number 3673834. Well the whole reason for me bringing this to light is AMS Obsolete says they are now being reproduced. I have not heard of anyone reproducing them, although it would be a great piece, fits every 73-74 b-body made. Of course they claim it’s at least a month wait. I have never dealt with them before and unfortunately still have a sour taste from Frank. Now I know Frank is no longer with us and should not hold it against the new management but has anyone had any experience with them? Oh of course prepaid. There price is ok @ $89 with hoses and lid. For the price I will probably take the gamble.

I'd wait until they're in stock.

Mike.

Yea I don’t know, like I said if I have ever dealt with them I would feel more comfortable. Also if they are available why wouldn’t they be in stock. It’s not the amount it’s the principle of paying for something that the vendor doesn’t even have. I searched for one and their site came up and listed an NOS one which they do not have, although they have a nice picture of one. Who knows it may be the same one listed on eBay that is wrong.

Quick bpbp you wouldn’t happen to know where there is another one of those nos bottles would you? It is amazing to me that the bottle fits every 73-74 b-body coupes, sedans, wagons, dodge, Plymouth and there are none to be found. As I said earlier I think it would be a great resto piece. I will let you know what or if I get from AMS.

Mike Carter (AMS Obsolete) is a good guy. I resell some of his reproduction parts and they're great. I'd trust that he would see that these are made correctly as well.

No I don't. That is the only one I have. There was one on Facebook for $650 and it actually sold... I hope the repo is nice as I just sold a good used one for $150 a few weeks ago...They also take a special radiator cap for this overflow system which I doubt they will ever reproduce.. Here is the cap for the radiator...

Fortunately I found one of those, put it on for shows only it is so rare!! I believe another great reproduction item it used on virtually every 73-74 body, Big block, small block, wagon sedan and coupe and there are none to be found.

and to think of how many of those got tossed by ME and others back in the day, replaced by standard [brand, replacement] "ear type" caps that were the correct, two seal type caps, but were replacements none the less.

Ya and when they were being tossed they were just a radiator cap that was hard to open so away it went in favor of a aftermarket replacement with ears.
