I found a new MP cam and lifter package, along with pushrods and springs that I remembered ordering for a guy 15 years ago. Can’t find specs on cam, and box is difficult to read. It’s a Hemi cam. Anyone one know what it would be good for? Jim.

It’s the “590” cam, but for a hemi so the lifts are listed for the 1.57/1.52 rocker ratio.

Thanks Dwayne, would it make a streetable cam in a 528 inch motor? I’d like to unload springs and pushrods and cam to a fellow if it would work. Jim.

It’s about 270@.050, and the lsa should be either 106 or 104.

Sort of a clone of the old Racer Brown STX-22 drag cam.

A very popular cam in the late 60’, the RB STX was used in entry level SS cars before the move to rollers. Somewhere in between there was the Mini-Express mushroom cam.

This cam, 11.5-12 to 1, headers, 4 speed with 4.56 moved several local cars into the low 11’s in street trim.
