Well I found out who this rob1426 was from eBay. Robert Hoover with Hoover auto parts. Sell lots of mopar restoration parts. Specifically, I’m looking at his idle solenoid for a 69 440 six pack. A little pricy but I guess the only game in town for a new or rebuilt solenoid. Anyway dealt with him?

I’ve purchased a couple small things from him via eBay in recent months with no problems.

So his solenoids are different than the poor quality repros that were available a few years back?

I guess so. See my other post in the restoration forum but he starts with nos solenoids and adds the bracket. He’s on eBay as rob1426.

I've bought from him numerous time with no problem. The last time he was slow to ship, but that may have been related to the virus? I got my parts fine just took a few days longer that's all.

I too have purchased items from him numerous times over the years without issue. Just purchased a little over $250 worth of nick-nak items from him within the past few weeks. Shipping was fast and all parts are very nice.

He’s an old Texas boy from years ago, from the San Antonio area. I used to drool over his red Hemicuda at the shows. Always a good guy. That’s his car on the homepage and the yellow one is Allen’s.

Thanks Tom. Hey, I’ve got a funny story for you next time we meet up.
