I would LOVE to have one of them.
Sadly I don't have any more money and I definitely don't have room for one of them for sure .

This is the 1st one of these Ive seen for sale in quite a while.

Price OK ??????
me thinks a bit high for the condition

Fixed

I used to have a maroon 1970 300, 440 auto. back in the early 80s . They make for a VERY nice hiway cruiser that has no problem running 100 mph ( not that I would do that )

I have been at the auction in punta gorda.
The most original car (the best of those in my personal opinion) was the one that sold last and went the cheapest for 21,5k $

Interesting, I guess they were looking for weight savings? I’m assuming it’s still a super heavy car?

Wow, good for you that you were able to attend that auction. up Was the Owner available, were you able to collect any good stories about any of the cars? The export car had some great documentation, would like to know more about it?

I was there just during Vacation after MCACN and turkey run in daytona.
I didn't see the owner. Could have been from an estate but I am not sure IIRC.
They were just all parked infront of the building entrance. One was restored decent. Two were drivers with repaints and several mistakes flaws as far as originality.
It is not too often you see four of them parked next to each other

One of the few sea bodies I'd drive, other than wagons. Great cars but no six bbl option? BOO

Not on the order sheet but my Dad said they would put whatever engine you wanted at the Factory if you asked for it on his Three Hundred twocents

Love these cars...I had a '69 300 droptop. My dad's co-worker at Chrylser Corp. was selling it in 1984, and dad brought home a flyer, co-worker had made up for the bulletin board. Rest is history....
I remember at the 1985 Mopar Nationals, there were about 7 or 8 of these '70 Hurst 300's all parked in a row, along with a couple '69 300 convertibles, at the Chrysler Chelsea proving grounds.

Were they looking for weight savings or was it easier then stamping a new hood and deck lid?kool car even though it had GM gold paint!

Hurst simply removed the outer hood skin and installed fiberglass, with functional twist hood locks...all for aesthetics...same with decklid. The gold paint was a Cadillac color IIRC.
