Both stripes look great on yellow. I have the longitudinal on my FJ5 Charger.

For yellow I'd prefer the bumble bee stripe (I meant to vote V8X but hit the wrong button ). I have the longitudinal stripe on my 70.

I like it. Initially I was going to put a bumble bee stripe on it, but since it was coded for a longitudinal I couldn't bring myself to do it. It has grown on me. The pic above may have had some tinkering with the filters, but it's the only one I have showing the whole stripe. This one shows the actual colors a little better.

I voted longitudinal. Bumble bee stripes are over done.

What stripe is it coded for ? Between the two, the longitudinal is more interesting to me. But it's not my car. As said already, the rump stripe is very common, and guys put it on everything. I really like the blue car, the blue stripe is subtle. My car is coded V6X Longitudinal stripe.

The car is perfect, leave it. Well, except for those damn R/T door covers that some Idiot Stylist in '70 thought was a good idea to cover up the beautiful door accents. The longitudinal stripe just draws attention to this obvious lapse of judgement. And, yes, we do have a '70 Charger without the door covers............thank goodness. I would have been so pissed if I was as old as you guys and ordered a '70 Charger R/T only to see that nonsense plastered on the side of the car when it showed up on the lot. I would have left it and taken a used '68 or leftover '69.
