Congrats!! up

How long did fulfillment take?

That's an interesting detail Mitchell continues to market the GM trans provision, after Mopar dumped it (on the iron). Very different products.

congrats, and I am sure it will make you a lot of power and fun. I bought one several years back, one of the best investments I ever made for my drag car.

Looks good - can't wait to see the build. I'm eyeing one for my Christmas list next year.

I will definately start a build thread, but not sure if i will dyno it, since it will be identical to the iron block build i dynod in june. It will be a 549 cube motor, 4.500 bore with 4.315 stroke. I got to 4.315 stroke by offset grinding my Crower 4.15 center weighted crank to 2.2 bearings. Heads ,cam and intake will be the same. 440-1, 3x intake, Terminator injection methanol, and 285/296/114 .867 and .800 lift using Jesel 1.7 rockers. R&R is doing the machine work.

you may be surprised on the differences in the dyno testing results with the only parts differences is the block material, I would love to see that also scope Please up luck
I know the only thing that really matters is the time slip and the owner liking the new block or not up work

Cab, got rid of the gear drive, going to a belt drive, so there is that change.

I've ran both types of cam drives but not back to back on the same motor with exactly the same cam timing, both worked well up
My new almost all out motor will be similar yours, 4.500 bore x4.375 stroke in a Koleno high nickel cast iron block with a set of fresh B1-MC heads and around 15.0 to 1 compression on E85 with two Dominator carbs on a sheet metal tunnel ram, hoping for 1000 HP + at or near 8000 RPM luck

Ours has been in this car for about 6 years now, can hear the gear drive pulling through the water box, funny how the camera picks up that sound. 572" - 11/1 compression on pump gas.

Cab i bet you will be closer to 1100 hp with a real stout cam. Cam specs?

I bought the B1 cam from Dave Koffel several years ago before I bought the B1-MC heads, not sure if I will use it or get one for the motor with the B1-MC heads confused
I order a KB aluminum 4.500 bore RB block several years back and got it last summer and now may not use it for myself, I'm thinking of building as a 572 C.I. pump gas motor with the B1 heads I have now to sell, hoping on making over or near 800 HP on Oregon pump swill with those parts luck

Congrats on the new bullet.
R&R did my W-9's and I was very happy with the work and the price.
Looking forward to seeing this one make some noise !
