I recently had an amazing opportunity to sit down with my friend Wade and talk about his passion for classic muscle cars and collecting some of the rarest and most historic muscle cars ever made. This is the first video of many to come in the future. You are not going to want to miss this! It's not only E bodies in his collection, but they make up the majority. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making it.

Thanks for posting, Wade is a great guy, and one of the nicest collectors I know.

Woulda been nice to take a quick look at each car, & hear a bit of each cars' story. That has to be a $15-mil cost collection right there. Says he started collecting these in the early 2000's. Some really fine cars.

This is just the first video. I will be doing videos on each car in the collection.

Those will be fun to watch. Try to get as much back story on the featured cars - hell going back to day 1 if you can! Show as many old photos of each car if Wade has them. Show photos of the original owner right after he got back from Vietnam, etc, etc. The back stories on ALL of these cars are what so many of us find fascinating. Best of luck on this project!

The red '71 Hemicuda Convert I had a chance to buy back around 1982 here in Northern Michigan. There's quite a back story on that car - I did not pursue that car because I thought it was pie-in-the-sky. We were just a phone call & 10 miles away from discovering & seeing that one. Woulda, coulda, shoulda..........

Well, the one I was onto was discovered & bought by Ron Adair a few years later, then he flipped it to Bill Drake. I know someone else owns it now - I believe Bill D. is deceased?? I bought this 72 RR 400 minus engine & trans from the conv. Hemicuda owners' brother. I bought the car for the rear go-wing spoiler & front boomerang spoilers - he would not sell them to me off the car, so I bought the whole thing. I horse-traded the front spoilers to Len of Year One & these were the origin of where the reproductions of the 71-2 RR front spoilers came from.

I made some of those Road Runner front spoilers for Year One during the summer of '85 - "small world" beer

smaller world.....I found out in the mid 80's that the chin spoilers as well as the deck spoilers were made for Chrysler by a company in Wooster Ohio and I put Dale Tuel from Dales Cuda shop onto it because he lived a lot closer than me, in Alliance, Oh.
He went there in a Volare wagon and told me he filled it with obsolete inventory E and B front spoilers as well as AAR and TA spoilers.
At the Nats or Carlisle when ever I needed a spoiler or two it was 'carte blanche' from Dale,... free for the taking.
He secured some of the tooling and and he and Fritz Wurgler, before Fritz broke away and formed FPAP, went on to manufacture all of them.

Wow - the thick plottens! I remember Dale T., though I never met him. Is he still around? So how about Fritz? Is he still around & making parts? (interesting stuff for sure..........)

I've seen Wade's collection up close and personal. Not only is Wade a great person, so are his wife and kids. One of the more interesting parts of the collection is something that Wade told me when I spotted his VW bug in a corner. He has NEVER sold a car. The VW was his high school and college car and in very nice shape...

He made an interesting observation, that most of the owners of these rare cars held onto them until the values increased. Motivated them to sell and be available.

Good video, and editing. take it easy on the advertisements. I enjoy watching them, but I don't want to help make boat payments for you. :-)
