If you order the remote mirror and its companion passenger mirror, note that the heads are the same diameter, but they are different thicknesses to accommodate for the pitch angle of the glass. They are not side by side identical. I say that because some people freak out when they put them side-by-side on the bench and see there’s so much difference.

Not only that...but the mounting location is different on the passenger door (it’s further back), more than 1 door has been misdrilled because someone assumed the measurements would be the same....

Yup. Furthermore, one side on my car I believe the driver’s side, had a bulge in the door under the mount . My body and paint guy, not a Mopar guy, wanted to “pound that back in”. 😳

I was looking online for a review mirror and came across a set of side view mirrors. Always wish the car had a passenger side side view mirror. Was this even offered? Would it be stupid to add a mirror if it wasn’t offered? Thoughts are appreciated Thanks PS anyone have a decent rear view mirror they’re selling cheaply...? Mine has a stripped screw inside the swivel cover and it swings freely. Yes, 2 styles actually standard manual mirror - used both sides https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mopar-Side...-Chrysler-A-B-Body-2802699/164383060492? I think that's not correct. Even the standard mirror can be installed on both sides, this mirror never was as far I know intended or offered to be installed on passenger side. For E and 71-> B bodies doesn't exist in fact the standard mirror counterpart being the same than this, except of course for the base due the door slope. To get a passenger side mirror you should get the DeLuxe mirror or Racing ( on 70 and lates ) which is remote for driver side but manual on a fixed housing for passenger up to 74 and remote since 75

68 catalog doesn't show the codes ( sure the codes setup changed since 69 ) but 69 shows the G31 right mirror being manual which I Guess must be accomplished with G33 on buildsheet or Fender Tag. There is no other right side mirror code for "standard" making diff between both. Soooo there is just one passenger side mirror option, being the DeLuxe one. I don't think 68 is diff from this on codes. 70 catalog should show two passenger side mirror options ( or just one code for dual mirrors being the racing setup ), but the racing mirror was as far I know a later introduction so is not included on initial prints of these catalogs.
