Helping a friend who is considering to purchase (new crate or salvage) and install a GEN III HEMI into a new tube-frame off-road race car (road race, dirt, etc).

He was originally planning a simple LA 360 hot engine, but the new GEN III engines have increasingly captured his attention. He wants lots of torque.

Are there exterior dimensional differences between the 5.7, 6.1, 6.4? Front-rear dimensions are critical.

Are there drawn dimensional sheets somewhere to be found?

T/Anks ahead.

Front/rear dimensions will depend on the front cover and type of accessory drive used.

John -- T/Anks very much for the helpful info! My friend has purchased a crate 392 and will be installing it into a tube-frame Jeep vehicle.
