I do a good bit of cruising and morning drives. Tired of spilling coffee on me when I'm driving. Anyone have pics of custom cup holder ideas that look okay? I have a pistol grip shifter column. so not much room to add something, and the generic window ones are not strong enough when accelerating.

Got 1 that will knock your socks off for cheap- buy a section of pvc pipe- probably 2 or 2.5 " in diameter, depending on your container. Cut it at 4.5" tall. Buy a small sheet of pvc board in 24x24" if possible. Glue and screw said cut pipe to board, then jam it in between seat and console. Cut the height to fit your taste. You could also cut the pipe and or board at a slight angle.. Simple and non permanent. Did I mention cheap?

I have one in my Stealth because for some reason, known to only the sadist engineer who designed it, The factory cup holders are under the console lid, where your elbow rests. Totally worthless.

Well, it seems Walmart has discounted them to $14. But they are all over Ebay for $10 or so. I ordered one today.
