Wanted to see if anyone has used the 3" TTI exhaust sys with springs moved inboard? I currently have the x system with turndowns at the axle. TTI says I need to run mufflers with both inlet and outlet on the inside (toward the tunnel), and a fuel cell in order to run their tailpipes...which I would like to add. Already have the fuel cell, but im wondering if with this configuration the pipes are too close together on the backside? I havnt been able to find any pics, would anyone happen to have one to see how that looks? Thank you!

It can be done with a stock tank but it is tight. My springs are moved under the frame and I have a stock gas tank and the 3 inch TTI exhaust system. The TTI system did not fit out of the box. It cost me $1000 for a street rod fab shop to cut the TTI system all apart and reweld it so it would fit and work properly. So add that to the price tag. I think it would be cheaper to just have a full custom exhaust built rather than buy a kit that doesn't fit and have to spend a lot of time making modifications but maybe their kits do fit on other cars.

How early B Body?
I've used Summits 3.0 inch kit (no X or H pipe) on my 1966 Dodge Coronet Deluxe 2 door sedan with the springs move in and it fits very well, I bought a set of Walker 3.0 muffs and they are fairly quiet in the shop, I haven't drove it out on the road yet as I want to take it for front and rear alignment before driving it after a complete frame off rebuild from the front bumper to the rear bumper. That kit does not come with muffs.
Some of their kits do come with Flowmaster type muffs down, I have their 3.0 kit with the Flowmaster type muffs on 1969 Darts GTS 383 4 speed car with the leaf springs move in that I ended up mounting the muffs behind the rear end between the rear sub frame and the outer 1/4 panels, fits well and looks good. Mounting the muffs back as far as possible helps reduce the exhaust noise in the car also up scope
I don't like the sound of the Flowmaster muffs shruggy
I used stock gas tanks in both cars and I had to dent the passenger side of the Darts tank, to clear the leaf springs hammer I had to massage the lips on the 1966 Dodge tank to clear the leaf springs and rear spring hangars wrench

That looks perfect, Andy. I'm already using the TTI x pipe, and I also have a fuel cell, so their tailpipes should be a slide in deal luck

Cab - my car is a 62 Plymouth

Here's what the TTI 3" system looks like on my '62 Dart. BTW, I had to cut several inches out of the various pipes to make it fit right, might have been corrected in later kits. Mine was ordered in late 2001.

I got my 3" max wedge exhaust about a year ago (63 Plymouth) and it fit with no mods.
