Well I finished my 4th complete fuel system today due to the CP4 failure.... last 3 have been the newer symmetrical Design pump. Hopefully that’ll be “the fix”. This is like a 14k repair. Now to see where the cracked block issues go.... the new CGI blocks are leaking oil.... not a good time to buy a Ram diesel in my eyes...

No no, them 2003 and on common rails with 3.73's that fill the oil pan up with fuel are a much better investment. up

All worth it for that 75 mpg they get at 300 mph pulling a house into a headwind.

As I've stated before: to the manufacturer that makes a twin turbo V8 gas with 600 lb/ft of reliable torque: you won't be able to build them fast enough to keep up with Consumer demand.
