The part your drilling needs to have come from an old worn weak sheer with all the sharp edges and even a bit of a catch on one corner, and your pic is missing the small box of the 1/4 wide tiny bandaids.

...the coffee needs to be scaulding hot and the drill motor needs to be electric while the operator is being rained on. I thought that was why the picture showed the box of gloves the drill operator forgot to put on, silly me, He probably figures out his mistake before drilling, and just picks up and holds the metal plate in his palm to drill it and not put a hole in the shop rag.

Why would one wear those thin gloves? They offer nothing.

With the unbelievably good luck I always have, the lock washers would go airborne and situate themselves around the cap screws, the cap screws would fling into their proper holes and inertia would start threading them in, the un-needed wrenches would fly into the open tool box drawer, the wrench that fits the cap screws would conveniently land in my right hand for final torquing, the coffee would land in my left hand, and the rag would absorb the 6 drops that spilt, and he piece of metal would go flying across the shop and lead me to the piston pin circlip that I lost 5 minutes earlier!

Great, but now do it again on your lap. Yea, I would do it on my lap so the drill bit wouldn`t drill into the wood.
