what seats fit decent in 1992 d 250 extended cab, no back doors, seats have to tilt forward, to acess rear cargo. thanks

I think most guys use Ramcharger seats. I did use a buddy seat in mine and put a hinge on the passenger seat to tilt forward.

thanks,the truck has aftermarket bucket seats in it.just looking for something comfortable,dont have to be direct bolt in.sombobdy has to have replaced and upgraded their seats.

The factory bucket seats, same as a RC, bolt right in. Only the passenger seat tilts but it doesn't adjust for and aft. They are extremely comfortable. I made many 800+ mile trips moving from FL to WV. Shouldn't be hard to find some.

I have the factory bench in my '93 and it is very comfy. Both sides fold forward to be able to get in the back seats.

Back when I had my '76 Club Cab, I found a pair of Recarro wanna be seats from some import (I've forgotten the exact car, it was over 20 yrs ago!) and mounted 'em to Ramcharger bases. The seats had all kinds of adjustability (manual) and were SUPER comfy.

As an added unplanned bonus, being the seats were from a two door car, the backs folded forward. This feature with the tilt forward base (passenger side) from the Ramcharger, allowed the seat to tilt pretty far forward and gave me easier access to behind the seats.

If you go for the Ramcharger bases and you currently have a bench, the floor will need a little reinforcing, especially the passenger side.

i have Ramcharger buckets in my 73 W200 Clubcab.
The 91-93 seat are awesome.

Pretty much any seat will "fit", the brackets may need modifying, and some seats may not be wide enough, few will be too wide. Seats from any 2 door vehicle with a back seat will have a tilting back seat, or any bucket can be hinged like the Ramcharger seats were so you can hinge it and flip the whole seat forward, but if its a high back bucket, be sure it clears the windshield when tilted fully forward.

Go to a junk yard, park your butt in a few seats from different vehicles and find one that is comfortable for you. Buy it (bench, getting harder to find these days) or a pair (if buckets) and take them home. Then make or modify the seat brackets to fit in the truck, and tilt if need be. I like how the newer bucket seats out of Chrysler mini vans feel. You can buy the middle row buckets pretty cheap during an LKQ holiday sale (if that have another one, darned Covid). Build a center counsel, or not, to fill the space between the seats. Gene

thanks for all the info, all good stuff. just bought interior out of 2014 challenger, for 250.00.d/s is electric, both seats fold forward, my pass. seat is the original mount so it pivots up. just got to get it all mounted.
