We lost Bill Overcash on Sunday. He went by 62maxwgn. He was a good friend. He has done several sets of 6 packs carbs for me and countless others. I enjoyed our many conversations over the years as much as I admired his work. He had my latest carb boxed and ready to ship but was just having trouble getting to the post office. He did not feel good for the last couple of months but never complained about his health. If you have carbs with a Bill right now, his nephew is a Mopar guy and knows a lot about Bills business so they hope to get everyone’s carbs back to them. You may need to have patience in that respect. None of his personal stuff is for sale.

RIP my friend.

This is horrible news....I am at a loss for words. I had no idea he was not feeling well. He was doing a set of carbs for me that I sent to him back in August.

I know there are others with carbs there as well. Give them a little while to get adjusted to the sudden passing. It was not expected. He was not feeling well and had a bad cough and cold. It was not Covid related. It would make things easier for the nephew who is helping sort things out, if you have carb number, date codes or even pictures. They are not sending anything out anytime soon because they want to make sure everyone gets their correct parts back.

Bill was a great guy with lots of knowledge. He did not mind sharing that knowledge, either. I think they can get things straightened out, though.

Well that is terrible news. I can't begin to say enough nice things about Bill. He was a quick wit, a gentleman and a great carb guy. I will miss him.

My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family.

Coming up on one year ago on December 5, 2019 I sent Bill a text asking if it was still his cell phone number and my cell phone rang within seconds. It was Bill and we talked for over 2-hours about EVERYTHING and more. Bill was the GREATEST person you ever wanted to know, and talk to and just wait for one of his Moparts replies......he was a straight shooter. Super Great man and I will miss him so much, I'm in tears GODSPEED BILL Condolences to his family and there will be prayers from me you can count on it.

DAMMIT !
I did not see that coming.
Bill & I had a lot of enjoyable & humorous exchanges here: he used to tease me about my blue Plymouth addiction.
Bought parts from him years ago and he was a pleasure every time we chatted.
I'll surely miss him, one of those guys you just knew you'd enjoy an in-person brotherhood with.
I'm gutted.

The very first PM I sent on a car website went to Bill Overcash and Bill returned the message with his phone number saying call me. Bill seemed to always have time for all my questions I know some times he would chuckle and tell me I already covered that with you but would go over it with me again and then follow up with a picture taken out of the service manual. Truly a standup guy top to bottom!

I'm so sorry to hear this!

Bill and I always maintained a good relationship and helped each other when either of us needed help sourcing carburetor parts, etc.

He was always very kind and generous with me even though we competed on carburetor jobs.

We lost a great guy! Prayers to him and his family.

RIP sir! frown

This is just awful news! Bill was more than a helpful WWW friend, He was always one to offer advice or even help since we were within driving distance! Rest In Peace my friend! just so sad! How appropriate I just found and installed one of the parts he sent me several years ago for my newest buggy just because I found it and it was nicer than the one on the car!

Very sad to hear this. Bill had done many of my carbs, he was always helpful and a great wealth of knowledge. We lost a very good guy and Mopar brother!

Condolences to the family and friends of Bill.
