Building a friend a LA 360 for his 1980 road runner.
I have a #438 pan from a c-body, Will it work in his car and clear k-member and steering linkage?

If not? Anyone know what part number 360 oil pan will fit in it?

Thanks!

Put a 79 360 in my 87 M body, used whatever was stock for a 79 Cordoba (donor car) to do it.

Cleared just fine. No idea what the number was though.

You should be fine with the C Body pan...

I only know of 1 car and 1 truck pan for a 360... shruggy

Thanks guys..
From what I've read they are 3 car 360 oil pans, 392 is suppose to be the correct for the F-body I'm working on. Their is also a 876 pan not sure what it fits. And this 438 pan from the 71-73 C-body. I went ahead and bolted to to a bare block and set it down in there to make sure it'll fits and clears everything before I bolt it up to the rebuilt 360. It fits fine! 👍👍
