Go to FABO or other sites.... Try to do moparts on an iPhone is almost laughable. Put black electrical tape over half of your iPhone screen like I do in my Chevy Malibu to cover up the warning lights.

I resorted to duckduckgo and it killed infolinks but those stupid PurpleAds are still there. Moparts was almost unviewable on Google Chrome!

The easiest and best way (at least for android) is to use the free browser called Brave. I use that, it works very well, and there is zero ads or pop ups. Moparts works flawlessly on Brave. And it is all private. You download it free from the play store.

I use duckduckgo as my web browser. That got rid of most popups. You have to get rid of old icons though , then search for each site through duck duckgo and add the shortcut back on through duckduckgo only. Then there is no tracking unless you go on a google owned website.

Can the owners of the site control this? He certainly can, he signed up for it. He seems to care more about revenue than the usability of the site. In my view this is short sighted. But his site his calls. Through various tools I have been able to eliminate every thing but the "purple" ads. What was most annoying before I was able to fix it was the screen jumping around. It was like trying to play "whack a mole" to open a message. It may be my imagination but I think traffic is down and some valued contributors no longer come to the site. I don't think it is reasonable or a sustainable business model to expect the users of a site to jump through hoops just to be able to easily use the site.

I would spend as much time as I did in the early 2000's if it weren't for the pop-ups and herky jerky movement the pages are always doing. just gets old real fast. I'm sure it keeps the site alive albeit working against it. Yep, even trying to type this response my screen moved down for an ad. I understand that ads help pay for the site but like most other people here I think its doing more harm than good. A lot of people just stopped coming here because the ads are literally all over the place. It sucks because there's a lot of very knowledgeable people leaving for a situation that could be remedied easlily just my 2 cents
