Where did the trim come from?!? This is the second car I have seen with trim that shouldn't be on it. Wonder what the story is with that and hope he has pics of it when he bought it new!

Interesting mix of parts; Betcha 10 bucks that car wasn't born with a 340, or that hood, or those stripes.

body side mldings clash with bumblebee stripe and looks awful in my opinion.
are the valve covers the right shade of blue ?? my guess is the mldings were added on sometime after it left the factory.

Is the 340 a 340, or a 318 with a new intake on it instead?

Swinger is only a trim option and could have had several engines to choose from.

^^^ Yup, I had a '69 Swinger - 318, AT, AC, back in '71-'72.
Western Sport Special, so narrow side moldings.
Neighbor had same thing but Slant 6.
Someone somewhere probably believes they came with GTS-style grille blackout, but I did that and removed the "Western" lettering.

No side moldings with bumble bee stripes according to Dodge sales guides.

The trim was quite the add on / up-sell at a lot of dealers back in the day. it was supposed to prevent door dings in parking lots. GREAT IDEA, lets punch a bunch of holes down the body line, snap in these plastic clips, and the cover them with extruded aluminum. Somebody made A LOT of money off the idea

Maybe it's my computer screen or my eyes....but that engine looks like it's painted Corporate blue...NOT turqoise. Aren't all 1969 340's supposed to be turqoise in color?
Seller says: " all original and untouched with original paint"....I know Chrysler didn't offer wide whitewalls on their 340 Darts.

I believe it is a Dart Custom with possibly a 340 added along with hood and stipe. You carefully have to read the add. It surely is not a GTS!!!

Well everything else is correct for a 69 Swinger 340, door panels, seats, dash, really the whole package is correct except for the moldings and tires. A custom would have the thin trim on the trunk also, it has the correct trunk lid and DODGE emblem. The master cylinder has been replaced along with the upper radiator hose, but has the correct 340 radiator also! Seems to me it is a real 340 Swinger, but would like to know why the moldings?

Looks like red paint overspray on the rubber biscuits on the inner fenders. Maybe it's been repainted at some point?

Those are as bad as any set of 24" wheel/tire setup ever installed on a vintage Mopar. Surprised there's no continental kit and/or skirts.

You also got to take into account the other things in the pics, there are hucksters all over with alot of money that put semi slick want ads on CL and prey on people worse then a high end pawn shop does just to make a living off others grief and the flip.

IM sure the title may say one owner but the sellers name will never be on the paperwork.

I believe it is original paint with some touch-ups in areas from what I can see on the pics...
