I'm not sure what the current count is between the projects and the parts cars. But I do know the last time I was at the DMV the clerk stared at the monitor and said, "You take up two screens!"

Love the Daytona. Turbo? I know the earlier ones had a grill in the hood if it was turbo but that year I don't remember.

If you look on Facebook Marketplace there are a lot of good deals. Some people need the money and because it isn't driven by people watching shill bidding on televised Auction shows the prices are more normal.

Looks like a 1987 or 1988 ShelbyZ. In the second generation the offset bump in the hood meant it had a turbo.

These I've all restored, minus the modern car of course. It does take some work just maintaining them, so don't know if more are in the cards. I would love to find a nice E-body convertible.

Wow. How big is your garage?

'67 is an abbreviation of 1967
67' is an abbreviation of 67 feet
They are not interchangeable.

Winner! Winner! '87 Shelby Z. Turbo II Intercooled. 175-horse. Last year for no airbags, and I even swapped in the really cool 4-spoke Steering wheel Mother Mopar offered around that time. Everything works now from the A/C to the cassette deck. I'd love to keep it as when I was in high school in the 90's, THIS was the car you wanted. I lucked into it like I usually do, but, can't keep 6 cars anymore and since my Uncle died, I can't use the warehouse anymore for my junk.

Thank you, definitely a wild bunch of options on this one.

Was lucky enough to get it from a private collector some years back.
It's one of only 3 original V6V R/T s that I have known about over the years ( anyone knows any others please let me know )
And the only one I know of with orange/black "houndstooth" interior. I think the combo is awesome.
As well it is a Formal Roof car, so one of about 100 R/T s noted with that option.
Also has wide front chrome trim, and also coded for front and rear rubber bumpers on the broadcast sheet ( if anyone has a set please let me know ! )
From what I am told you couldn't have rubber bumpers and wide chrome trim, but I have seen a 71 with both and is supposed to be factory but cannot confirm.
Interior optioned with Rallye gauges, AM /FM radio with console mounted cassette player with dictaphone and 3 speaker dash.
It's has the original 340 motor with A/C and a console automatic ( don't know any formal roof cars that are manual shift - but would love to know if any exist ) .

Yes we have had many of our cars there. My Road Runner is about 3 blocks from where your picture was taken. It's right behind the courthouse, so easy & convenient for us to attend
Thank you, Ken

Had an older gentleman call last fall. Said he saw my black "Detroit Muscle" Charger sell for $200k at Mecum and said he had some Chargers if I was interested. I told him I''m not that "Detroit Muscle". He didn't want to believe me so I asked a couple questions. Said he had about 30 cars. About 12 of them Chargers. Said he's 73 and his GIRLFRIEND said "you're no Jay Leno and that he should get rid of some of them". I asked if they were rough. He said no. All at least drivers. Said he had a 71 Challenger convertible and rattled off a few others. I Google mapped his house and it was a modest bungalow in the Cleveland area.

They are still out there.

The garage is 44 X 38. I've had 7 cars crammed in, with one on a lift. Never seems to be enough though.

I have just one. That is all I have room for and all I can afford to keep. My dream of having a 1970 Challenger R/T will never happen. It was gonna be my retirement car, but due to health reasons, just making it to retirement (just over 3 years from now) would take a miracle from God.

I can only guess that the reason your rubber bumpers are missing is because it looked so different with the wide hood molding? work shruggy Have a couple of '71's myself, hope you change your mind and keep yours. up
