I love both, but I'm a little biased in that I owned a 71 Charger R/T Hemi from 1980-1984. I'd have to go with the squashed-frog (Charger). *My old business partner called the 71-4 Chargers "squashed frogs." RIP RHK.

71-72 B-bodies is the only body style that I have no preference between Dodge and Plymouth. I like them both. (for me though, I like either body style thru '74) There's a a guy I see on instagram that has shortened the nose of '72 Chargers and I think it looks sooooo much better. I don't know how much he removes, but it really tightens things up without looking like it was punched in the face.

Road Runner for me. I love the swoopy aero styling of the Plymouths of that era.
The Dodges of that era simply don't do it for me. I have tried to like them, but I just can't. The 69 Superbee is one of my favorite cars. But in 70 they hit it with the ugly stick. Then in 71 they hit it again.....

Not that my opinion matters, but:
To me, the Charger looks a bit too long forward of the front wheel, and the side marker placed too high on the fender. The RR tail lights & markers look a bit too busy, and the grille pattern not very interesting. That said, I like the overall shape of both, though they look larger than their preceding body styles; especially the Charger. Of that era I prefer the '72 RR, as it looks cleanest to me in base form without all the stripes, wing & boomerangs. Heck, I wouldn't even want the Air Grabber.

I found a smaller photo of the car at it's first show. I think everything flows nicely on the car. Interior is about 75% finished. Also a good friend of mine had a base '71 charger (318/air/column auto) during college years we used to bomb around in. He used it all year long so eventually the Illinois salt got to it. That's really a beauty - you did a great job on it. Where did you ever find the blue door panels & the rest of the interior?
