RJS OP master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 6,224 JERSEY	It's always been my understanding in the early part of 1969 your engine block and transmission would have a full vin.# stamp. If that aspect is true where would the cut-off to partial vin. be??? January or even sooner? Would an October build have the full vin. stamp? Thanks Ron

Kippy member K Joined: May 2016 Posts: 59 USA	My car was is a. 1969 sport satellite, 383 two barrel, single exhaust. The block is a 69 non HP block but the numbers are just a little over 200 digits off from the VIN..... From what I read its the period correct engine but not the original engine. The trans has a attached tag that reads "factory rebuilt". Last edited by Kippy; 11/13/20 10:18 AM.
