Anyone install the 14" x 6" reproduction Mopar rallye wheels on their A-Body? If so, what trim ring did you end up using?

Reviewing Summit/Jegs websites, indicate the 14" x 6" trim as a shallow ring with a rounded edge? The 14" x 7" trim ring appears to be more correct for a 1970 Mopar with more depth and a step/transition on the face. Any info on part number/supplier info would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone try installing reproduction trim rings on original 14" x 5.5" Mopar rallye wheels? Quality fit or issues?

These rings I have sold in the past , come from another vendor. They seem to work well on both 14 x 5.5 and 14 x 6 ralley wheels.

Who's the company making or selling those, then ?
They look more authentic than the ones Vinny posted.
Seems like 90% of the rings available are either the rounded GM style, or have that huge outer flange.

The rallye trim rings from Wheel Vintiques look very similar to the ones above. The pics I posted from Summit/Jegs from their website and they were not representative of the actual trim ring.

I believe all 14" wheels had brushed rings?

14" used brushed rings with a polished lip. I have the ones Duster2 posted above on my Challenger. They look fairly close to original Mopar trim rings. You can mount them on a spare wheel and spin them on a tire balancer. Then use a scotchbrite pad to brush the outside. That's what was done to mine.

Burdar, those look legit enough for me.
Vintiques, then ?
Oddly, Coker owns them (and Specialty), but the Coker rings I've seen are either GM-style or have that huge outer flange.
I'd really like to find them in 15", for stepping up to 15x7 & 15x8.

Not sure where you can buy them. Duster2 gave me the name of a local Iowa guy who sold them. I want to say he went by "The Wheel Guy" or something like that. He used to show up to some swap meets. Maybe Duster2 knows where they can be bought?

I am The Wheel Guy , the guy in Iowa ( dont know if he is still around ) was McWheels , Curt McKim. I got those trim rings from a guy near
Fort Knox , Kentucky and I know he got them from somewhere else. I will see what I can find out tomorrow and let you all know.
I the past I have gotten a few of those rings , that had minor scratches , I have taken and brushed them , with mixed results. Not great
but not bad.
Specialty Wheels has been closed up by Coker , Coker is selling the same products , but the prices have gone up. The 15 inch rings that
I got from them were pretty good. But the brushed rings were brushed all the way to the edge.

So I found my old contact for the trim rings and he still sells them. Who might want a set ??
I checked my trailer and found I still have one set , they have some minor scratches and a very small ding in them.
I was probably going to brush them , any way.
Let me know and I can get a price for them and a time line..

Well, in my case, I need to get the car first; seller & I are "dancing"...
And I'd be doing 15x7 & 15x8 '69-style Magnums.

vinnyd76,

I contacted Coker for some information. In my case, I will be using the 14" X 5 1/2" (sbp) factory Rallye wheels up front. I will also be using 15" X 7" (sbp) WheelVintiques Rallye wheels on the rear. I want to use polished/chromed (NOT BRUSHED) trim rings.

Coker's response was the following:

for the 14" X 5 1/2" front wheels they suggested:

https://www.cokertire.com/accessories/oem-trim-ring.html

for the 15" X 7" rear wheels they suggested:

https://www.cokertire.com/accessories/15-trim-ring-3-round.html

Hope this helps.

15 x 7 ring

https://www.cokertire.com/accessories/15-3-step-trim-ring.html

Your not going to get a direct match 14 and 15 , also I think the 14 inch ring I have matches better
except for the valve stem hole , than anything they have in a 14 inch , that why I never got any
14 trim rings from them. I bought 15 inch only from Coker ( Specialty Wheels )

This is the polished ring,

https://www.cokertire.com/accessories/trim-ring-15-inch-x-3-inch-step-stainless.html

This is the brushed ring , but it is brushed all the way to the edge...

Also they never made a 15 x 8 ring , just use the 15 x 7 ring , it shows about a 3/4 inch gap.

Yeah, I'm aware there's no 15x8 Mopar OEM ring; was hoping maybe the aftermarket had one.
The outer flanges on those Coker rings looks a bit wide to me, wider than Mopar OEM.
But it's been many years since I had them on a car.
