Boogered up the forged crank in my 67 440. I have a cast crank, balancer and weighted convertor. Is there a problem using the cast crank in my older block while using the smaller flange thrust bearing?

The cranks can interchange. Just use the right bearing for the block.

Do you know if that cast crank had the bigger heavier H,D rods like the 1970/71 six pack rods or the same size as the LY rods?
If it was made with the heavier rods I would have the crank rebalanced for your motor twocents

This crank came from a 77 engine. I don't believe it had the heavy rods on it.
