Phil Painter posted this on Facebook yesterday.

I though it should be shared here.

It is with a heavy heart that I am posting the passing of our dear friend, Scott Sieveking. Scott’s family asked that we share of his passing with his many friends. Scott passed away at his home last evening.

Many in the car community know of Scott’s passion over the years for Mopar Muscle Cars and the Monster Mopar Weekend in St. Louis.

Please keep Julie, Jason Sieveking, Erin Hagglund & the entire extended Sieveking family in your prayers.

Scott’s passing was unexpected and the family could certainly use your love and support at this time.

Funeral & Visitation information:
Saturday August 8th, 2020
Visitation: 10-11AM
Service: 11AM
To be held at St. Patrick's Old Rock Church in Catawissa, MO.

Rest In Peace, Scott.

My first Mopar show way back in the early 90s. One of the two main things that got me hooked.

RIP.

I bought a 70 Challenger dash pad from Scott at the 1984 Mopar Nationals in Indianapolis. He was asking $50 for the perfect dash pad, and it was so nice I didn't even try to chew him down on it. I just handed him 50 bucks, and he looked at me like I had 3 heads....lol. We talked a good while, and even called each other looking for stuff over the years. Heck of a nice guy, and a huge loss to our hobby. R.I.P. Scott. angel

I thought that I should post an update about the Sieveking family.

Scott Sieveking's wife Julie passed away on Saturday October 17th 2020 after losing her battle with cancer.

If you ever attended Monster Mopar at Gateway and bought an event T-shirt near the tower or grandstands odds are pretty good that it was Julie that you bought it from.

Rest in peace Julie, a true Mopar girl.

Hearing about one spouse passing shortly after the other is both sad and sweet at the same time.

Monster Mopar in St. Louis back in 2004 was the first Mopar show I ever did. Went for about 10 year and it led me to go on the to Indy. the Nats and Carlisle.
Sorry to hear about his passing.
