Is this problem only on '20 models? or are other years affected as well? Mine's a very low mile 2015, no problems as of yet.
Did a little research on this. Looks like pre-2019 Rams had the older (better) style CP3 injection pump and the newer CP4.2 pump that has the failure history is installed on 2019 and 2020 models.

I’ve like replaced a handful of those over the years, and not for eating itself puking metal into the injectors. Very dependable unit.... think my top “hindsite” pickups are the 14-18 models.

Thanks, that's what I found too. I edited my earlier post to reflect this, but you had already responded before I had refreshed the page. Thanks again!

Man FCA must have a huge prob on their hands. I’m on my 3rd failed one at work which requires the whole fuel system to be replaced. 7500miles, 3200 miles, and now one with 16k. Takes over a month and a half to get parts. thats what I am hearing at a lot of the dealerships locally. I do foresee a possibility of the cp3 retrofit kits possibly becoming a possible replacement. cp4.2 was suppose to be better, but apparently not
