What does everyone think of the Challenger when its made to look like a 71 Cuda. I like it. Not enough to pay 63 grand but maybe enough to try and do a trade and some cash. Are they desirable or am I the only one that likes the look. Reminds me of the Superbird conversion that is done to some of them. Most people seem not to like that conversion even though I like that too.

I've always thought it was a dumb idea, lets face it it's a Challenger body with a grille that's similar to a Cuda.

It's not a Cuda.

If you reskinned a late model Challenger with a 71 Cuda body it would at least look like a Cuda.
The lines of a Cuda look nothing like a Challenger. twocents

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

I don’t like it. Looks like a once pretty girl that was a burn victim and the plastic surgeons did their best, but it’s all sad.

We did the original Cuda convertibles at Mr. Norms, but we changed the quarter panels to get rid of the Challenger hump. We only did a few of them but they looked a lot better that way. twocents

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

I kinda like the eBay car! I’m surprised but I do!

I like the ebay car a little, but the Mr. Norms version is much better.

63K seems strong but the top goes down and these modern hot rods are fun & comfortable to drive...

Thanks for the replies. I agree that the Mr Norm ones look much better with the quarter panel mods that were done. Time will tell if this car gets a big price drop. I also like the super bird mod that is done on the modern challenger. But the resale value on them is also horrid.

I would not look to the new stuff as any sort of investment. Buy it and drive it if you like it.
