I have two 440's.

69 block that was machined, new cam bearings, steel crank turned, new rings and bearings. Fresh worked 906heads

71 complete rebuilt engine that had a cracked piston. Full set of replacement pistons included. Not six-pack rods/balancer, 906 heads

What are they worth?

Looking for information on the 1969 block. Can you please tell me the blocks casting date, the stamped EAD and if it is stamped for HP internals?

MoPower..... Better to be a racer for a moment than a spectator for a lifetime.

The 71 is a core motor plus the price of pistons. You need to mic everything to see if is a standard bore and crank. Cores go for $1000 or so tops. The 69 hp will bring a little more because of the hp. The machine work can help if it’s good. I’d say $2000. If the owner of the car can be found, then he would likely pay more. I have two friends looking for their 69 motors. It’s a long shot.

I’ll alert Dan. I’m sure he wants to record it. That’s from an LA built car.

Yes for the good years. Things are not cheap anymore. Have you gone to the lumber yard? I almost passed out pricing a 1x8x12’.

new number to me & I can't figure out for sure if it is a Coronet R/T (WS23L9E) 20% or a GTX (RS23L9E) 80% - the only 2 440HP cars built at LA for '69
