I friend offered me his NIB Trick Flow harmonic damper to use on my 543. It's an elastomer damper, not fluid. This one was bought for a n engine he was building for a friend but the man passed before the engine was finished.
I didn't know Trick Flow was in the damper business.

I didn't know Trick Flow was in the damper business. I wouldn’t have a problem at all trying a TrickFlow damper. My son and I both had summit brand dampers spin. Todd from Competition Wedge recommended Powerbold dampers and I tried one with zero issues. ATI is my go to brand for most builds.

I didn't know Trick Flow was in the damper business. I wouldn't have any problem using it. I'm sure Trick Flow doesn't make the damper, it is most likely the same as the Summit damper which is most likely built by someone who builds dampers for a variety of vendors. Summit owns Trick Flow so there are a lot of parts that those two companies share between themselves. Sometimes they are identical, sometimes the packaging is different.

After meeting and talking to the owner operator of TrickFlow I have a lot of confidence in their products. If they aren’t satisfied with a product they don’t release it. The small block Mopar intake manifolds were cast last year and they weren’t happy with the quality so to this day the still aren’t released. When they are satisfied they will be.

It says the damper fits internally balanced 383 and 440.
