1960-1968 Black Paint is paint code B
Coded on the fender tag color and style would be:
BB1 is Black roof and body
WB2 is White roof and black body

Much original dealer literature is archived here.
https://www.hamtramck-historical.com/library-2.shtml

Poke around until you get a hang of how its organized. Its pretty useful for checking into original options, running changes, service bullutins etc.

. My question arose from looking at the paint chips on Hamtramck site under 1968 Plymouth and Chrysler... as black is not shown ??

Rarely do they need to explain "black" to a customer. Black is Black.
AMC never showed black on their paint charts, either. It was available on ALL models for an extra $16 bucks.
