Has anyone used lifters from a company called BAM? They make what looks like a nice roller lifter for Mopars, that are bushed, instead of needle bearings. just wondering if anyone has used them, with good results?

Thanks.

I'm going to use them in a build I'm doing. Scott Brown (Competition Components) . sells them at a very reasonable price. check out buyracingparts.com

An engine builder friend uses them quite a lot, they're basically the only roller lifter he uses now.

There is a thread on Yellow Bullet in the NA section about them as well.

I have a set here Im installing in a sbc. They look nicer than most lifters I’ve dealt with other than Jesels. No sharp edges, great fit and finish. Time will tell, this is my first experience with them. I’ve heard nothing but praise from other users.

Was it BAM or Morel that had problems with their BB Mopar solid roller lifters several years back? confused

BAM is, what a crane lifter was. The old crane ultra pro was a good lifter up to about #350 on the seat. Above that, and they wouldn't fail, but would always spread a little at the fork. You'd know it was spreading pulling them out lol.

The jesel solid body is the best lifter for the money. Same wheel, axle, and bearings as their tool steel lifter, for half the money. A little heavier, but oh well.

Haven"t used them as my engine is still not assembled but I had all the machine work including heads done by FHO and he put the parts package together which include Bam lifters. This is for a 572 roots blown hemi.
I asked Tim the same question and he said that is the brand they are using and highly recommended them.
