Hmmm...what about a build-off...the Feets NA big-motor Imp vs a McCandless twin-turbo Imp... Not fair! I'm a poor boy flying solo through this world. Besides, I have another project in the works that needs my attention. Yeah, Big Scary is a 72 crew cab Imperial. A kid was walking past it at a cruise night. When I turned the ignition on the headlight doors slammed closed and the kid ran crying for his mother.

EFI + OD will seal the deal! I'm going to mock up the factory intake, carb, and air cleaner for measurements. If the intake off the hot rod will fit it'll go on. The Holley Quadrajet Sniper won't feed this thing. You will most likely be fighting hood clearance the whole time. Probably need to use a Holley Strip Dominator intake with a Sniper XFlow to feed that engine. Yeah, I don't think the old CH4B is going to flow enough to see this thing past 5000.

Holley Street Dominator is the perfect intake for this. Mine was ported by Streetwize (Bobby) here on the board. Great low end throttle response, pulls hard to 6500 redline and fits under stock hoods easily. I built really close to what you are doing save for the fact that mine is a 505. We took down a C7 'Vette rolling from 40mph on the highway tonight so it runs pretty good. Your heads are easily cnc ported by Modern Cylinder Head and will match the big cubes perfectly if you are so inclined. We've broken everything from the ears off the front driveshaft yoke to the rear u-joint to tearing up a brand new Mancini Racing cone type 3rd member so plan your drivetrain upgrades accordingly! 1350 joints are a requirement!

I don't plan on drag racing or running sticky tires so that should help things a bit. The 8-3/4 has a low mile TrueTrac I stuck in it and it runs the big U joints. Still, there's a double cardan joint in the drive shaft so I've got three joints to break. This dinosaur won't be taking down C7s but it'll likely frighten a Mustang or two. It tipped the scales at 5300 lbs with half a tank of gas and an empty truck. All I can compare it to is the Mercedes S65. Those things are slightly lighter, have 704 lb/ft and 630 hp. They run bottom 12s with the 5 speed auto.

Yep Kevin, you're nuts. I love it. My nuts? You love them? Not supposed to tell everyone! That's embarrassing!
