I've heard of this before. In 1974 my dad & I went to look at a local '70 Challenger 440-6 car that was for sale by the original owner. He had ordered the shaker hood, but the car came in with the standard R/T scoopy hood. Along with the car was a letter from Dodge that said something like: "due to production problems, the shaker hood is not available at this time." I have heard this same scenario numerous times over the years, and in SOME cases, cars came in with T/A hoods instead of shakers. Challengers only - Cudas did not seem to have issues with the shakers.

Less bidders and not going anywhere near the price last time around w/ 4 hrs left.

Edit: 1 hr left and no movement.

Edit" Didn't see what it went for. Anyone else watch it?

Poor timing trying to sell it during an election. Listing it again right now isn't going to pay off.

I don't know what these sell for when done, but would it be easier just to buy one ready to go?

It's blue and an automatic (both are a-ok things by me), but it's not like it's the top prize of the breed like a 4 speed high impact color model would be.
