Where to get them? Would like to go to them and ditch my solid mounts, but can't find them.

Tex That's what they do. They couldn't take the heat from headers. I believe Schumacher is all done too. Kevin

I just recently purchased a set of Myte Mounts from Dynatech Engineering. They look pretty good, I haven’t installed them yet.

mountMember farmboy whittled these out for me out of aluminum. I only used the drivers side.

I use the Schumacher poly mounts on my 62. Purchased back in 2007 or 8 but not much run time since then, and also havnt raced it yet. So far they’re holding up . I use their torque strap as well.

I purchased the Mity Mounts. The disclaimer says life time warranty but not for racing applications. I'm going to give them a try at this point. Driver side is the only side with the the countersunk screws. Passenger side looks pretty much like a stock mount.

I tried the poly mounts on my A-Body and found they transmitted too much vibration into the car and were very stiff. I swapped them out for a set of stock rubber mounts and the Schumaker torque strut. The vibration was gone and I have not had any issues since.
I have Mity Mounts on my Shaker hood E-Body, so the Shaker can do it's thing. After a few years of use, I found the driver's side mount had nearly pulled the cap stud through the plate of the mount. I replaced it with another Mity Mount and installed a short length of chain to keep the engine from lifting up too far any more. THere is a lot of strain on the driver's side motor mounts in high hp/torque applications especially with drag radials.
I learned that it's a good idea to combine a strut, strap or chain to help limit overall lift of the motor on acceleration especially when you have high torque and horsepower.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)
