My 'new to me ' truck.

Having been without a truck since before we moved across country.
It was time, and after looking for well over a year , and more aggressively the past couple months .

I bought this one. last month .
2012 Ram 1500 2wd sport. It popped all my buttons. Decent miles for the year, dark interior color was my 1st choice And It had to have a shifter and all OEM paint ( the round dial knob and any aftermkt paint work was a deal killer for me )

I wasnt really looking for this generation truck. As I really wanted a 06 to 08 Dodge quad cab,,,,BUT the hood and all red sport trim level just spoke to me Huge plus is all factory paint and it doesnt have hardly a scratch , dent or ding on it, except for one small nick on the front bumper cover about the size of a dime .
Finding an earlier model that fit my needs that didnt have a boatload of miles on them I found out was next to impossible. Not to mention Trucks out here have gone nuts this year price wise. I gave serious thought to go look at a low miles 2001 ram 1500 quad cab. but asking 10,000 . I just couldnt do it .

sup folks - here's pics of our truck/toy - it's an 02 Dakota Quadcab: 440, 46rh, Atlas4, Dana 60 front, 14b rear, and 40" Toyos. It's been in work for over 3 years and is just recently rolling under its own power. It was built to be a 100% streetable rockcrawler/camping machine - I call it a 'Rocklander'.

Just found this local to me. I don't think I could of found a cleaner 10 year old truck anywhere!

49 Dodge pickup on a 94 Dakota 4x4 chassis, 96 5.2 EFI, 46RE, 3:55 gears. Painted the 2nd week in Aug, 2022.
Its 2013-2016 Jeep Cosmos Blue Acrylic Urethane.
I drove it all last winter, it is, and will remain, my winter driver.
The old pic is what I started with in 2019. The last one is as it sits in the driveway now.

Bought new in 1991 W150 . It has been a super reliable truck . Not sure of the mileage because the odometer stopped working some time ago …. Maybe 250k range. Retired to landfill duties now .

Well, I went and bought a loaded up 2010 Ram R/T. 100% Rust free Florida truck but does have some sunburn on the clearcoat. No worries though, I would trade sunburn for rust any day. I love it! 390 HP with a 4.10 diff. This should be fun!

Gotta love A100s Blue one is a 66 with a slant six auto and the grey one is a 67 318 auto.
