from the auction

and one of few N96 SHAKER HOOD cars delivered with a power bulge hood!

it did not have a SHAKER hood until recently - I'm of the OPINION none-of the pre 10/15 SPD N96 SHAKER R/Ts were actually delivered NEW with a SHAKER hood

all the unrestored ones out there DO NOT have a SHAKER cable hole scope & some may have grown one during restoration work

Okay, so fender tag is a fake.

"one of only 150 built and one of few N96 SHAKER HOOD

cars delivered with a power bulge hood!"

Hmm...ok. So that doesn't make sense. It was ordered, but not on the sheet and IS on the tag?

Does not the A32 package come with power disc brakes? It looks like a manual drum master cylinder.

Looks like no woodgrain inserts in the door panels which would be correct for this period.

Give back the money back for the option.
I ordered a 440-6 Shaker Challenger R/T in Feb 1970 the car came in April with no Shaker on it.
Salesman said take the car don't take the car I can't get the shaker, here is you shaker option money back
Bob

Mom & Dad let me buy a brand new 70 Challenger R/T 440 Six-Pack Super Trac Pack when I was 17 (Robert what is a 440 Six-Pack)

I wonder if your car had the code?

I personally would classify this as a "factory mistake" and put the shaker on it. It has the codes.

I remember years ago a T/A owner had an original T/A with the 340 six pak call outs on backward (facing backwards). The owner wanted to keep it that way since the factory did it. This is a common restoration error and I felt she should correct it otherwise everyone would tell the owner they were on wrong. And besides, it just looked bad. Not sure what she did.

Looks like it was stored in a snow drift with the windows down one too many times.

I wish old cars could talk. Wonder why it was not stored better or even restored during the boom years of the car hobby?
