Could my 72 340 Cuda have come from the factory with chrome valve covers? It had them on it when I bought the car 15 years ago.. They look like OEM quality and I can make out this number stamped into the baffle plate inside one of the covers 333EX19 or it might be 335EXJ9 It is really had to read. I cannot find a pentastar stamped on them anywhere.

Many thanks. Could be but they have the brackets on them to attach the plastic ignition wire brackets to them. Did the factory ones have a Mopar logo stamped in them? Maybe someone chrome plated the factory painted ones?

Thanks again! Mike

I want to remember the direct connection V covers were just chromed OE stock covers .

I have a couple of the DC/MP covers. They are just chromed stockers, but they are pretty nice.

Li'l Red Express came with factory chrome valve covers with spark plug wire tabs. That wasn't until 1978, though.
