My 2011 ram 1500 front windows sometimes don't work and sometimes they do. It seems like if they work on one key cycle they work great the rest of that key cycle until the next key cycle when they again may or may not work for the entire key cycle. I tried a switch off one of my other trucks that has no issues and this one still has the same issue and the other one works fine with this old switch, also tried the door module and same story.

Another thing it has done is all the gauges will randomly stop working for about 2 seconds and then come right back on like as if you just started the truck. This only happens about 1 out of 5 times I drive it. The engine does not shut off or nothing, it just keeps driving on down the road fine.

My mother’s 2005 Town and Country 3.3 van has done both the same things.

A voltmeter In the cigarette socket shows a System voltage drop when the switch is depressed, so I thought it was the motor-gearbox, but then on a lark I sprayed the switch with my favorite corrosion product, DeOxit, and was surprised to see it started working again.

I kinda also suspect the special
“one touch and the window goes all the way down” switch
may be not self releasing and turning off The circuit off like it should.

On the gauges suddenly going to zero and back
Dr Google told me to clean all ground connections
and the problem has not returned - yet.

Good luck.
