(Since St. Patty's fell after COVID shut down most of the country, many Irish pubs are celebrating 1/2 way to St. Patrick's Day today). We don't have a traditional Irish pub in my city anymore (last one closed a couple of years ago). Since it's a Thursday and my wife and I both have to work tomorrow, we decided not to travel 90 miles to an Irish Pub to celebrate, and rather are having folks over to our home (outside, social distancing) to share some Irish traditions and drink Guinness tonight.
