68-70 B bodies have a small 1/4" plastic plug that fills the hole to access the vent window allen head screw. I have a 70 Dart door i use for testing some parts. It too has a small hole to access the allen head screw. Was there a plug used on A body doors?

Thread hijack, does any one reproduce those plugs in colors like the green or blue of the upper door paint?

Think I saw them in the Classic Industries catalog.

Under the carpet of a 69 Swinger I parted out was about 50 of those plugs in green and red. I saved them but do not know where I put them! They may have expired in my garage fire though. The next time I am at the shop I can see if I still have them. I put them in a glass baby food jar so they might have survived.

New one are only molded in black plastic. The Classic ones and any other ones that are in color are painted. Easy enough to dust with spray paint.

I figured I'd be painting some. Would prefer to find some molded in color ones if I could. I am in no hurry, so I can keep looking.
Thanks all.

Hey guys. While on the subject of these plugs, what is the best way to remove one without scratching up the door paint around it. Please explain. Thanks for any tips.

That particular plug pops out pretty easily without scratching paint. Fingernail & thumb, easy.
The bigger ones for the ventframe & rear glass run, though, are more of a battle.
For those I use the plastic prybars or a very small screwdriver, but thy usually get damaged.
They're available in black, but not colors as far as I know.
