2007 Dodge CTD, 300k, original Tran which is serviced every 30k. Recently I have been experiencing shuttering while backing. Not bad, just a slight shuttering. Any ideas?

Which trans? 5.9 had the 48RE and the 6.7 had the 68RFE.

48, has the rear band on and the front clutch. If it doesn’t flare or shutter on the 2-3 I would tackle the rear band adjustments first.

68, L/R clutch is on and the Rev clutch is on. I don’t recall hearing much of any shutter issues on the 68.

Check all the engine and trans mounts for condition too.
