The engine has been rebuilt, has 0.30 pistons in it, so it is hard to tell if it came from a U code or V code car.

I dug out an 18 spline Hemi 4 speed transmission from my transmission stash today. I am going to ask my transmission guy if he thinks he can rebuild it. I checked the VIN numbers on it,and I figured that I would post them on here to see if the car still exists. The VIN numbers are 0A230002 . If you have the car it came from, send me a pm here on Moparts, thanks Pete. My transmission guy took the transmission all apart and cleaned up the parts, he glass beaded the case, and ran taps through all the bolt holes. I found the side cover with the shift forks,and a whole other transmission in parts to make it complete. This will be available to the owner of the matching numbers car up to the point that I install it into a car. Once it is installed, it's staying in the car.

Would like to find orginal Hemi 4 Speed to my 69 R/T Charger, along with fender tag.

They used the number 0, not the letter O.

BS23R0B146394 as the VIN, and so if anyone has the transmission, the digits stamped on it would be 0B 146394.

(that way if anyone has it and 'googles' the partial VIN on it, this post will lead to you)

Well in talking to people, if the owner of the car knows someone is looking for the engine or trans - he is either holding out for some reason, doesn’t want to go through the hassle of removing it, or thinks it may be stolen and he will get in some trouble. I have heard all kinds of stuff as of late.

All I would like to do is reunite the engine and trans with the car more for sentimental reasons. Car is never going to be sold so I don’t care about the “added value” of it being numbers matching.

These are real nice transmissions, All taken apart and cleaned First 8A282306 has a 2467 ASSY date code April 29th 1968. 300th trans built that day.
Second Transmission is 8A302027 with 2482 assy date code May 14TH 1968. 333 trans built that day.

This was in a 69 charger from i think New Mexico Looks like out of a 1969 Roadrunner Convertible!

0E 108380 is from a 1970 Barracuda, Gran Coupe or Cuda.

New number to me, so I'll record it in the 1970 LA Registry with you as the contact person.
