Yeah, might make a Mopar girl out of her yet! Best of all she bought it with her OWN money... '13 Redline Challenger, 1 owner with 55,000 miles on the clock. It's really a clean car, it had just been a little neglected by the first owner, but it cleaned up really nice.

And yeah, she's young! We gotta get her a LOT of practice behind the wheel before we cut her loose. Here's hoping she stays safe with it!

Well... she started off saying she wanted a Raptor pickup. laugh2 But that got a firm "NOT HAPPENING" from dad...

After that she was thinking about Jeeps, Challengers, Chargers, etc. So she seems to have come over to the Mopar side. But we definitely need to get her a LOT of wheel time! Even though this is just a V6, it's still a lot of car for a kid... that's not without some concern as you can imagine.

I highly recommend one of the high-performance driving schools.
Best way to impart an understanding of the physics involved, car control, and train out a panic response.

Believe me, I really like the idea of all the airbags the car has and such... All you have to do is read the statistics about traffic fatalities and teenagers to get a sobering reality check!

I recommend this to EVERYONE with a teenager. I took mine to the Honda Teen Driving Program at Mid-Ohio. Hearing a guy who was Indy 500 and Indycar ROTY tell them something made it a lot easier to hear than when dad said it. I was convinced when I was driving home from work during a snowstorm when I saw my 17-year-old daughter come around a corner in her 2wd V8 Dakota and drive it sideways for about 1/4 mile before she straightened it out and went on home with no problem...

Was she grinning while driving it like that work
Or was she trying to survive that slide?
If grinning you might want to watch your six if you have a race car, she may have plans on taking it over devil grin Just Kidding stirthepot

Those V6’s are no slouches. Trust me.

I’m amazed at their acceleration, the few times I’ve “hammered” it. drive

I know, I've driven it! That's why I am serious when I mention researching some driving school experience for her. I think it would be a wise investment. up
