I know they did 1" per side so you could bolt a 44" b-body housing in, dr diff now sells that kit, pretty sure 2" per side would be in the frame rail.

Be careful I used the offset shackle kit in a car. the rear shackle hits and will leave a dimple in the rear valance during jounce and rebound

They only listed front offset spring hangers for E bodies with SS springs when i bought mine (they would be longer and not work with stock springs).
The A body front offset spring hangers had 2 holes and you can flip em upside down side to side etc.... and change ride height
Morroso spring perches have the correct size hole. (The MP ones had too large of a locator hole)

I tried to order the 1" shackle kit from Dr Diff for either stock length or Super Stock but not available

Watching Roadkill, the episode with the "vanishing paint" challenger, they turned that car into a road course machine. They mentioned that they welded a plate to the front hanger that went inboard and mounted the shackle mount to that. That allowed them to move the springs in and get more tire clearance. Now, if you are a member of MotorTrend streaming, you can watch the episodes where they actually build the car. That show is called Roadkill Garage. I think there are 2 episodes for the build of that car. I don't subscribe so I haven't seen them. I thought that was an inexpensive way to take care of the front mount.

Or you can do the opposite too, weld a plate to the outer side so you dont have to mess with the mount. Just drill 4 new holes to mount to the frame. I think this is the way they did it, if I remember correctly.

Roadkill S4 Ep. 16

I have Dr Diff's inboard spring hanger kit and 3200 lbs SS Springs on my 3700 lbs 1970 'Cuda. There were no fitment issues, and they don't hit the rear valance. I used a narrower1967 B-Body Dana 60. I am able to fit 325/50-15 Nitto Drag Radials without rubbing.

The dr diff kits had a 1" offset front bracket, with 2 spring height holes and a 3/4 offset rear shackle. I had no issue with the valance on cudas with stock length springs. He used to sell a 1.5" offset kit that some said would hit the valance, it used the same front hanger and more offset at the rear, as e-body springs are in the car at an angle. I would measure the valance now and see how far you can go, then call cass, aka doctor diff. I put the 1.5 kit in for a guy 12 years or so ago and he never said the valance was a problem, but he also was a bodyman so moving the cuda valance bulge over would have been easy for him.

Motor trend on demand dropped the price to $1 a month. I missed that but was able to sign up at $2 a month. For that price it was worth it. Not sure if that deal is still good

My E-body offset hanger/shackle kits move the springs inward 1" per side (front and rear). This allows a stock '65-'70 B-body rearend to bolt into an E-body. For reference, a '65-'67 B-body rearend with a 28/12/15 MT Sportsman SR (street radial), 10" wide wheel and 5" backspacing fits nicely.

I make a shorter shackle to facilitate rear valance clearance for all Barracuda and some Challenger applications.

The kits should be back in stock in about 2 weeks.
