Is there a bushing that goes in the K frame where the lower control arm pivot installs to the K frame?

no for sure what you are working on, but have't seen one on K frame, just on control arms

NO bushing... those holes are usally egged out. Hope that's not the case with your K frame.

There's a steel tube welded into the K that accepts the LCA pivot stud. Frequently rips loose. Get out the MIG if so. I usually weld a large washer on as a gusset.

Rick do you weld a washer on the front and the back sides?

Firm Feel has a variety of custom designed washers that they use to reinforce this area on K frames. I'm not sure if they sell those washers on an individual basis or not but it is worth a call to them. I'm sure if enough people asked for them they would sell a kit of washers.
