Friend of mine brought me his 72 duster to find his vibration issue. He notices it trying to do burnouts and down track. This new set of MT ET street has 3 races on them since he got them from Jegs. They are balanced. Not the best video, But can see the drive side tire has a pretty good out of round issue to it. Several of us around here run these. But I've never seen one look this out of round. Normal? Or bad tire? Video 👇👇👇 https://youtu.be/WzTC4yomxHA

Was it sitting a while before taking that vid? They can flat spot a -little- if parked a long time.
I would drive it a bit and try again, assuming it's not wheel/axle.
Also if it's not running rim screws or beadlocks mark the tire and rim. The rim can spin inside the tire which then puts it out of balance.

He raced it saturday night. The pass side don't look out of round like this one when spinning. What's funny he just texted me and said the guy who balanced them when new, Asked him if they been sitting a long time? He must have noticed it too? He has them marked on inside of wheel. Dont look like they've spun any on the rim. Not a real fast car. 7.70s 1/8 mile with 3.55 gears.
Edit, He's been on hold with Jegs for the last 30 mins. I doubt if they do anything.

i had a set of Pro275s a few years ago . Massively out of balance needed like 200grams . Ran them unbalanced initially and thought wheel was coming off , low 11s car . Talked to MT and they were returned and refunded

The last 2 sets of MT drag radials that I have gotten have been out of round. Egg shaped in fact. I have a pair of 295/65s now that I took off the car because I cannot stand to drive the car above 50mph. They vibrate BAD! I should have called MT, but I waited a few months before I mounted them and figured it was too late. I have see other sets that were bad on other guys cars, too. I wished MT would get their act together.
Master, again and still

I tried to look up a price over the weekend for a set of 14-32 M/T slicks and they were also out of stock. Someone on Facebook told me they had a fire at one of their plants and that was causing and issue. Sounds like things will be better soon.

My buddy was going to get a new pair of 14-32 MT's and couldn't find any. We have a friend in common who is pretty well connected in the racing industry and even he couldn't get a pair.
