Does anyone know where to get sleeves for a INDY MAXX block, besides INDY? Checked Darton's website, and it doesn't list anything. This isn't an INDY bash, just wondering if they can be bought cheaper.

Unfortunately the phrase BOHICA comes to mind. Been there done this..If you call Darton they can make them. At least they did when we needed some. And it IS expensive

Is the block 4.500 bore now? They make 2 different o.d. sleeves. 4.525 bore now.

Is the block 4.500 bore now? They make 2 different o.d. sleeves. 4.525 bore now. Been thinking the same, mine is 4.53. Been weighting the cost between special pistons or sleeves to smaller cheaper slugs like 4.31

LASCO may make them in the size you need but not specifically for that engine, but be careful about the length.

Did you check with Harlan? He got a sleeve for my 392 no problem.

Call Indy directly - the new ownership are really good to deal with and ship out parts quickly! That is the plan as of now. I have some other stuff to order from them as well.
